Trust is the platform's product. These are the principles, controls, and commitments that make GigAnywhere work for both clients and workers.

Principles

Three principles. Audited internally.

Transparent

Both sides see the rules before work begins. No hidden tracking. No surprise terms. Session indicators are always visible to the worker.

Consented

Verified work-session requirements need explicit consent from the worker. Workers can decline jobs whose proof level isn't right for them.

Proportionate

The proof level matches the work. Most creative work is Delivery Only. Verified is reserved for engagements where both sides benefit from a stronger record.

Client verification

Clients are vetted too.

Trust isn't a one-way street. Workers need to know they're working for legitimate businesses. We verify clients before they can hire — and we publish client behavior signals to the talent pool.

Payment protection

Money sits in escrow until the work is approved.

Clients fund a milestone up front. The funds sit in escrow. The worker delivers. The client approves — or opens a dispute. Either way, the worker doesn't deliver into a black hole.

Funded escrow Required before work starts on every milestone.
Same-day release Approved milestones release to the worker the same day.
Partial release Clients can release partial milestones with worker agreement.
Dispute holds Funds stay in escrow while disputes are reviewed.

Limits

What we don't do.

Surveillance and proof-of-work are not the same thing. Here are the lines we don't cross.

  • No hidden tracking. Workers always see when a session is active.
  • No keystroke logging. Activity is summarized, not transcribed.
  • No background audio. Audio is never part of standard proof-of-work.
  • No tracking outside sessions. Personal time is personal.
  • No automated firing. Every adverse decision includes a human reviewer.
  • No selling of work-session data. Records belong to the engagement, not the data broker market.
  • No off-platform tracking demands. Clients asking workers to install unsanctioned tools is grounds for removal.
  • No retroactive rule changes. The proof level set when work began is the proof level for that engagement.
Data privacy

Your work record. Your control.

Work records are operational data — not training data, not marketing data. They live in the engagement and they leave with you.

Engagement-scoped data Each project's data is separated from every other.
Configurable retention Clients can set retention per project on enterprise plans.
Worker access Workers can request their own engagement records on demand.
No third-party sharing We don't sell or share work-session data outside the engagement.
